FOAM FILLED LANDING AREAS

Many of the most important UK and certain overseas stadiums have foam filled High Jump and Pole Vault areas manufactured by Power Plastics. Outside the UK these areas are usually marketed under the trade name "Challenger". Many years of research and collaboration with leading coaches, athletes and I.A.A.F. representatives have resulted in the present design of high performance Landing Areas manufactured by Power Plastics and currently specified by many of the leading UK stadiums, leisure centres and schools.

All seams and joints are joined by double or triple stitching as appropriate with special welded joints also incorporated into designs as appropriate. Power Plastics use only the highest grade of woven spike sheet mesh to ensure the best possible resistance to damage from spikes during use. A combination of castelated foam and special vent points ensure rapid air displacement from the foam by competitors as they land. Where required by regulation all major components can be supplied warranted "Flame Retarded".
